President- Sam Jabara

Sam is originally from Michigan where he received a degree in Economics & Management from Albion College. He began his professional career at Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP in the consulting practice with their Enterprise Solutions team. Sam later transitioned to Plante Moran, LLP as a project manager on their Technology Consulting team, helping to lead organizational change in the automotive, food & bev, and aerospace industries. Sam holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Sam plans to spend the summer at Robert W. Baird on their global investment banking team.

Vice President, Investment Banking - Paul Murphey

Following undergrad, Paul spent two years in Boston working for MFS Investment Management, a $400B AUM mutual fund house. Paul went on to spend two years in Boston and two in New York with Coleman Research Group, a leading expert network firm, where he served as the US Private Equity Team Lead. At Coleman, Paul managed client relationships with several of the largest private equity firms in the world. Paul led a team of analysts on commercial due diligence projects for deal teams across industry verticals, with a focus on Enterprise Software, Healthcare Services, and Industrials. Paul graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Ohio Wesleyan University where he played varsity football. At Notre Dame, Paul is concentrating in Corporate Finance & Investments. He plans to spend his summer working for UBS Investment Bank in New York.

Vice President, Corporate Finance - Matthew Nicholson

Originally from St. Louis, Matthew studied mechanical engineering at Purdue University. Prior to attending Notre Dame, Matthew worked for Anheuser-Busch InBev as an operations supervisor in the Denver wholesaler. As a part of the warehouse team, Matthew worked on inventory management and managed teams of up to 16 operators. In 2018 the branch was awarded global branch of the year. At Notre Dame, he is studying Corporate Finance and Strategy. During the summer, Matthew will be working with CenturyLink in their consumer finance division.

Vice President, Portfolio Manager - Matt Talley

Originally from South Bend, IN, Matt graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2010 earning a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Management. From 2010 to 2019, Matt served as an Engineer and Special Forces Officer in the U.S. Army achieving the rank of Captain. His assignments included Combat Engineer Platoon Leader, Company Executive Officer, Special Forces Detachment Commander and Operations Officer. He has served throughout the U.S. and conducted multiple combat and operational deployments to the Middle East and Southeast Asia. He is a graduate of the U.S. Army Ranger Leader Course and Special Forces Qualification Course.

In 2019, he transitioned off active duty in order to pursue his MBA at the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business where his concentrations are Finance and Investments. Matt also serves as the Treasurer for the MBA Military Veterans Club. This summer, Matt will be interning as a Global Investment Banking Summer Associate for UBS in NYC.

Vice President, External Engagement - Sarah Hohenberger

Prior to attending Notre Dame, Sarah graduated from the US Coast Guard Academy, where she majored in Operations Research & Computer Analysis. She spent the following six years serving in the Coast Guard in California, onboard a ship in San Diego and at an operations center in San Francisco. While she intends to pursue a career in finance, Sarah is also an MSBA dual degree student. In addition to her Finance & Investments Club role, she is an officer in the Women in Business and Business Analytics Clubs. Sarah plans to spend the summer with UBS as an Investment Banking Summer Associate. 

Outside of school, Sarah loves to travel, run, and drink and learn about wine.

Vice President, Treasurer - Kelly Huapaya

From Lima-Perú, Kelly began her career in audit services at KPMG; she had the opportunity to work in high-profile engagements ranging from traditional mining companies to media agencies. After eight years, Kelly decided to move to Teva Pharmaceutical as a Head of the Accounting and Tax Department. At Teva, she was responsible for redefining objectives, simplifying accounting processes, and support the business finance team. At Notre Dame, she is concentrating in Corporate Finance & Investments. During the summer, Kelly will be interning with Eli Lilly and Company as an MBA Finance Intern in the Managed Healthcare Services (MHS) unit.

Vice President, Communications- Sean Sullivan

Originally from Missouri, Sean started his career at Enterprise Holdings in the Management Trainee Program in Omaha, Nebraska. At Enterprise Holdings, he worked in customer service roles in management positions. Sean worked as a Branch Rental Manager for the majority of his career before being promoted to Area Rental Manager, where he oversaw 7 locations with over 1500 vehicles. Previously, he graduated from Saint Louis University with a B.A in Criminal Justice. At Notre Dame, he is studying Corporate Finance and Strategy. During the summer, Sean will be interning with Deutsche Bank in New York within the Investment Bank.

Vice President, Member Development- Jonathan Chadick

 

Originally from Westlake Village, California, Jonathan graduated from Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania with majors in Finance and Operations and Information Management and a minor in Sociology. He began his professional career as a portfolio consultant at Longboard Asset Management, a $350M commodity hedge fund. Jonathan later became the Managing Director of Distribution for Longboard’s mutual fund business and helped grow the division to $750M AUM and $11M in annual recurring revenue. In 2018, Jonathan left Longboard Asset Management to join his partners in running West Coast Development, a real estate development company in Scottsdale, Arizona. At Notre Dame, he is studying Strategy and Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
