Club Officers


President: Kyle Grba

Originally from Chicago, Kyle studied economics and finance at North Central College. After undergrad, Kyle spent time in corporate finance at Gallagher Bassett and risk management at MB Financial Bank before transitioning to Clermont Partners, an investor relations consultancy in Chicago. At Clermont, he advised small- and mid-cap consumer and industrial companies on executing strategic investor relations programming and communicating their financial narrative to institutional investors. Kyle is a CFA charterholder. At Notre Dame, Kyle is concentrating in Corporate Finance & Investments. This summer, Kyle will be working on the global investment banking team at Robert W. Baird in Chicago.

Co-Vice President, Investment Banking: Julie Fancher

Julie studied journalism at Southern Methodist University and worked as a reporter for four years at The Dallas Morning News where she covered breaking news, city government, and transportation. She then went on to get her Master's of Public Policy at the University of Southern California. After graduating, she went to work in marketing for a Vista Equity Partners portfolio company before getting her MBA. At Notre Dame, Julie is concentrating in Corporate Finance and Investments. She will be interning at Lazard Frères & Co. in their Chicago office as an Investment Banking Summer Associate. 

Julie is originally from Connecticut but moved to California when she was 11-years-old. Outside of school, Julie loves to do yoga, play tennis, and travel.

Co-Vice President, Investment Banking: Alissa Oropeza

Originally from San Francisco, CA where Alissa received a degree in Finance at the University of San Francisco. Upon graduation she began her professional career at Ernst &Young (EY) within the Assurance practice. At EY, she served both public and private Tech/Biotech clients for three years and saw one of her clients through an IPO. Alissa later transitioned to Nextdoor (private social network) as a senior accountant working on global revenue and equity accounting and international corporate governance. Currently at Notre Dame, Alissa is concentrating in Corporate Finance & Investments. She also serves as VP of Finance and Fundraising for the Women in Business (WiB) club and VP of recruitment for MBAA. She plans to spend her summer working for UBS Investment Bank in New York.

Vice President, Corporate Finance: Nick Faust

Nick is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio.  He received a degree in Fine Arts  from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. He began his professional career working in Supply Chain and Logistics managing Food & Beverage and Defense accounts at Legion Logistics and then US1 Logistics. Prior to coming to Notre Dame, Nick co-founded PrEP4All, a non-profit focused on expanding domestic access to preventive medicine for infectious diseases like HIV and Hepatitis C. Nick handled government affairs and congressional relations for PrEP4all. Nick plans to spend the summer at Procter & Gamble on their Finance and Accounting team.

Vice President, Investment Management: Tyler Adams

Originally from Manhasset, NY, Tyler graduated from the College of the Holy Cross with a B.A. in History. Following graduation, Tyler spent one year working as the General Manager for his family’s heavy construction equipment rental business. After working for Adams Rents, he moved on to Wealth Management Operations at Morgan Stanley for the next five years. At Morgan Stanley, Tyler began in the Client Reporting department. After two years, he led the development of a new operations department, which would go on to manage the client electronic notification system. Tyler left Morgan Stanley as a Director overseeing the Client Reporting and E-Delivery teams. He holds his SIE and Series 7 licenses. At Notre Dame, Tyler is concentrating in Corporate Finance and Investments. Tyler will be in New York City this summer interning for Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management.

Vice President, Engagement: Faith Achangwa

Originally from Limbe, Cameroon, Faith began her career with the National Crude Oil Refinery of Cameroon. She started as a Junior Treasurer and went on to head the Treasury and Finance office of the Refinery. As the Treasury team head, Faith crafted and prepared working capital reports, negotiating and presenting to multiple large banks, and securing loans for the Company. She also successfully made material late payment interest reclamations from clients and lowered the overall bad debt situation of the company by at least 20%. A little under five years later, and right before starting her MBA, Faith worked as Finance Controller for Premier Attire shops in the Illinois Area. At Notre Dame, Faith is concentrating in Corporate Finance and Investments. During the summer, she will be interning with Morgan Stanley as an Investment Banking Summer Associate.

Faith is very passionate about child education and have founded an organization called “Free teachers.” This organization's mission is to ensure that orphans and less privileged children stay motivated about their education. She also currently serve as a volunteer tutor with the University of North Dame center for civic Innovation.

Vice President, Treasurer: Michael Plate

Originally from Cranford, NJ, Michael studied Economics at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to attending Notre Dame, Michael worked for BBR Partners, LLC, a boutique wealth management firm based in New York. As a Vice President of Operations, Michael oversaw the teams that handle trade execution, pricing, reconciliation and performance reporting of investments. At Notre Dame, he is studying both Corporate Finance and Investments. During the summer, Michael will be working at Citibank in their Global Consumer Banking Division.

Vice President, Communications: Amanda Barkley

Prior to attending Notre Dame, Amanda graduated from Vanderbilt University, where she majored in English and minored in Communications. She spent the following years working in interior design in Chicago and in alumni engagement in higher education. At Notre Dame, Amanda is pursuing concentrations in Corporate Finance and Investments. This summer, she will be interning with Guggenheim as an Investment Banking Summer Associate in New York.

Vice President, Member Development: Matt Greenwood

Prior to attending Notre Dame, Matt graduated from the Royal Military College of Canada, where he majored in Business Administration and was co-captain of the Varsity Rugby program. Matt then qualified as an Air Battle Manager, spending 2 years as a Senior Director at the Canadian Air Defence Sector, executing 24/7 tactical air defence operations over Canada. He spent the final 3 years of his military service as an Instructor/Evaluator and Squadron Standards Officer at 51 Squadron (Operational Training), teaching RCAF and USAF Air Battle Managers and Weapon Directors. At Notre Dame, Matt is concentrating in Corporate Finance and Investments. In addition to his role on the F&I Club, Matt is also the VP of Veteran Engagement for the MBA Military Veterans Club. This summer, Matt will be interning with Jefferies as an Investment Banking Summer Associate  in New York.
